Our affection to the sea and our experience of over 10 years in the professional yachting industry are the base for the foundation of Lounge Yachting.

Vencislav Dobrinov – the CEO/President of Lounge Yachting and Tanya Dzhachkova – manager of the company are experienced sailors and RYA instructors with more than 10 years of experience in the professional yachting industry. They have chartered sailing yachts, motor yachts, custom-made yachts and catamarans on a very high level around the French and Italian Riviera, Spain – the Balearic islands, Portugal – the Azores, Croatia, Greece, Turkey and the Caribbean. Their aim was to gain as much experience as possible on different brands and types of sailing and motor yachts and catamarans. In 2016 they have started the first RYA shore-based Training Centre in Bulgaria.

The range and variety of vessels they sailed and cruised on (34ft – 100ft) make them specialists in skippering, consulting and advising owners and crew on different issues – sale and purchase, surveying, new yacht building projects, yacht refit, crew placement, crew training, yacht chartering etc.

In January 2012 Vencislav Dobrinov was involved in the preparation and the crossing of the North Atlantic Ocean – from Saint Lucia via Antigua to the Azores on one of the emblematic Challenge race yachts – category zero – One Hull a.k.a. Cat Zero. Later on the same year Vencislav Dobrinov was awarded for one of the best sailing achievements of the year in Bulgaria by the Foundation “Cor Caroli”.

In 2013 Ven and Tanya surveyed the building process of a private custom build 70ft Sunreef sailing catamaran in the factory in Gdansk, Poland. After the launching of the catamaran, they delivered it across the Baltic sea, North sea, bay of Biscay, Gibraltar, Mediterranean and were awarded a prize for one of the best sailing achievements of the year in Bulgaria by the Foundation “Cor Caroli”.

In 2014/15 Ven and Tanya crossed the Atlantic Ocean from the Canary Islands to St. Lucia on a CIM build Maxi 88’ – 103ft overall and sailed the Caribbean. Later on they deliver the same yacht back from the Azores, Portugal to Greece where they organised and surveyed the major refit of the yacht.

In 2016 they started the first shore-based recognised Training Centre of the British Royal Yachting Association in Bulgaria. All the courses are offered both in the class room based in the centre of the capital of Bulgaria – Sofia and online.
